• September 2023: Our patent on “Shared keys for no PCBA cartridges” has been issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

• July 2023: We are organizing the "Intelligent Edge Computing for Data-Rich Applications (iEdge)" Workshop co-located with IFIP Performance 2023 with Hulya Seferoglu from UIC.

• August 2022: Our patent on “Distributed Secure Edge Heterogeneous Storage Network with Redundant Storage and Byzantine Attack Resilience” has been issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

• April 2022: Our paper on “Adaptive Gap Entangled Polynomial Coding for Multi-Party Computation at the Edge” is accepted by IEEE ISIT 2022.

• April 2022: Our patent on “Distributed Secure Edge Storage Network Utilizing Redundant Heterogeneous Storage” has been issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

• April 2022: Our patent on “Distributed Secure Edge Storage Network Utilizing Cost Function to Allocate Heterogeneous Storage” has been issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

• January 2022: Our work on “PolyDot Coded Privacy Preserving Multi-Party Computation at the Edge” is invited to be published and presented in IEEE SPAWC 2022.

• August 2021: Our work on “Adaptive and Heterogeneity-Aware Coded Cooperative Computation at the Edge” is accepted by IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing.

• July 2021: Our work on “Coded Privacy-Preserving Computation at Edge Networks” is accepted by ICML-21 Workshop on Information-Theoretic Methods for Rigorous, Responsible, and Reliable Machine Learning.

• November 2020: Our paper “Private and Rateless Adaptive Coded Matrix-Vector Multiplication” is accepted by EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking.

• February 2019: I joined Seagate Technology, Storage Research Group.

• January 2019: I will serve as the registeration chair of IEEE ICNP 2019. UIC will host ICNP in October!

• December 2018: Our paper on “PRAC: Private and Rateless Adaptive Coded Computation at the Edge” is accepted by SPIE Defense + Commercial Sensing, 2019.

• August 2018: I received ORAU Postdoctoral Fellowship Award.

• July 2018: Our paper on “Dynamic Heterogeneity-Aware Coded Cooperative Computation at the Edge,” will appear in ICNP 2018 (accpetance rate: 17%).

• November 2017: Our paper on “Device-to-Device Networking Meets Cellular via Network Coding,” is accepted by IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (with minor revision).

• May 2017: I defended my Ph.D. thesis on “Design and Optimization of Cooperative Wireless Networks”.

• October 2016: Our work on “D2D Meets Cellular Using Network Coding” is accepted by CoNEXT Student Workshop, 2016.

• September 2016: Our paper on “Content-Aware Network Coding over Device-to-Device Networks” is accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, 2016.

• July 2016: I am currently a research intern at Huawei R&D (Wireless lab), Rolling Meadows, IL.

• December 2015: I received UIC Provost's Award for Graduate Research for my project, “Design and Optimization of Cooperative Wireless Networks”.

• August 2015: Our work on “Network Coding for Cooperative Mobile Devices with Multiple Interfaces,” will appear in Milcom 2015.

• March 2015: I will be spending summer 2015 at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs, Murray Hill, NJ, as an intern.

• September 2014: Our work on “Content-Aware Instantly Decodable Network Coding over Wireless Networks,” will appear in ICNC 2015.

• August 2014: Invited talk on “Quality Improvement in Instantly Decodable Network Coding,” in CRAB Workshop, ICNP 2014.
